  • H.T Lyons and Systecon’s Modular Expertise Integral to The Chemours Company’s Discovery Hub

    “Without modular, we wouldn’t have been able to pull this off in two years”. ENGIE North America teams H.T Lyons and Systecon contributed their modular design-build expertise to the construction of The Chemours Company’s new Discovery Hub building, in partnership with the University of Delaware. The state of the art, $150 million-dollar research hub utilizes H.T Lyons’ modular MEP racks and Systecon’s modular Central Utility Plant to deliver the quickest production and installation timeline in line with the specifications of this project. The building is set to open in December of 2019.

  • Sutter Health Continues with State-Wide Environmental Stewardship at its Yuba City Campus

    As a part of their continued efforts to provide cleaner energy at their hospitals and medical buildings, Sutter Health, working with ENGIE Services U.S. (“ENGIE”), “flipped the switch” on a new solar energy program at Sutter’s Yuba City campus. The solar power installations will provide 56 percent of the campus’ electrical power and a PPA agreement with ENGIE locks Sutter in with a favorable energy rate for 20 years, assisting in Sutter’s mission to provide quality healthcare at consistently affordable prices, all while helping the environment.

  • Gonzales USD Energizes New Solar PPA, Will Produce Almost 940,000 kilowatt-hours of Renewable Energy Annually

    In a solar implementation strategy being adopted by schools and facilities across North America, Gonzales USD in the Salinas Valley announced the activation of their new solar Power Purchase Agreement, or PPA, project at the start of 2019. By choosing a PPA framework to implement their solar initiative, aligned with ongoing sustainable campus improvements and student-led “green” initiatives across all district sites, Gonzales USD will capture over $5 million in electricity savings over the term of the 25-year PPA.

  • Sutter Amador Hospital Harnesses Solar Power to Provide More Than Half its Electricity Needs

    On Friday April 26th, Sutter Amador Hospital “flipped the switch” on an on-site solar generating system that will provide more than half of the electrical power needs for the medical campus. The solar power purchase agreement project, otherwise known as a PPA, is part of Sutter Health‘s ongoing efforts to provide a cleaner energy source at its hospitals and medical office buildings, demonstrating the Northern California healthcare network’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

  • South San Francisco USD Named Only District-wide Winner of U.S. Green Building Council Best of Green Schools Award

    At a national award ceremony hosted by the Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), in collaboration with the Green Schools National Network (GSNN), South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD) was named one of only nine national recipients of the 2019 Best of Green Schools Awards. The awards represent the best environmental efforts in schools across the country and highlight national leaders in school sustainability.

    One of Greater Cincinnati’s largest private companies has been acquired by a global firm, ENGIE North America Inc. West Chester Township-based Systecon, a maker of modular heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, was acquired Jan. 31 by ENGIE NA, whose parent company is based in Paris, France.

  • Scholarships Help Grow Students and Sustainability

    In 2017, Ohio State entered into an innovative public-private partnership with Ohio State Energy Partners, created by ENGIE North America (including members of the ENGIE Services U.S. team) and Axium Infrastructure. The partnership generated a $1.015 billion upfront payment to the university, plus an additional $150 million commitment to support academic priorities such as ongoing support for student scholarships and teaching excellence programs.

  • ENGIE North America Acquires Systecon LLC

    ENGIE North America Inc. today announced it has acquired Systecon LLC, a leading complex modular solution provider for customers in a broad range of industries for mission-critical data center, commercial, industrial, hospital, government, education, and hospitality industry projects. Headquartered in West Chester, Ohio, the company was founded in 1949 and has more than 85 employees.
